Just Another Voice in the Wilderness

Some think it necessary to put on a public face as though they have never had a frustration in their lives. But that's not my style, and I'm not afraid to tell you that this has been a tough week, emotionally.  Hateful lunatics get international press coverage simply out of the intent to commit heinous acts.  While decent people are either ignored or called terrorists.

Most of what I do and say is ignored by the overwhelming majority of the human race.  That is true for almost all of us.  Very often I wish I had a larger platform to address the world.  But things are the way they are.

I don't know about you, but it becomes easy for me to despair.  Why bother, I ask myself over and over and over...

The simplest answer, and it is simple, and the reason I am starting this blog again, has to do with chemical reactions.

Chemicals have unique relations / interactions with other chemicals.  Much of the time nothing happens.  But sometimes, when just the right compound reaches another, the results are spectacular.

So, though my voice cannot reach the human race as a whole, and my efforts are often for naught, many times I do get feedback from people telling me that I have touched them deeply.  Just last night I got a call from someone saying that one of the chapters in my Signs and Wonders - Tarot Cards for Christians, touched and inspired him "more than any thing I have ever read in my entire life, ever."

And that's when I knew, for certain, that I had to restart this blog.  If, by the grace of Yhwh, I can say the right thing at the right time, to be able to touch someone's life and be able to help them, then I must continue, as long as I have breath.  There are wondrously miraculous chemical and spiritual reactions yet to come.

It's just that simple for me.

And it's just that simple for you.  Do what you can, while you can, with whatever resources and abilities God has given you.
