Satanism and God's Name

I used to be involved in Satanism before I gave my life to Jesus.  When I saw your writing about God's name meaning "I will be what I will be" I shuddered, because the Satanic prayer is "As thou will, so let it be."  You really need to repent of this, and stop spreading this evil.  Your Brother in the REAL Jesus, ----.

I can certainly understand the nervousness.

To the casual observer it could appear these are them same thing.

But they are not.

Satanism takes the will and attempts to focus it outward.  To be able to exert your will over the physical universe and people in it is Satanism's goal.

Yhwh's pathway is different.  It is INTERNAL.  God does not promise that your will can shape other people or the outside world.  God does promise that your will can shape YOU.

Simplified, it's like this:

Satanism: IT shall be as you will.

Yahweh: YOU shall be as you will.

The kingdom of God is INSIDE you.  The fruit of Yhwh's Spirit brings internal peace, love, joy, kindness.  God never promises that you will be rich, or control the world.

We are to serve people, not manipulate & control them.

That's what I tried to say in Powaqqatsi.

The Death & Transcendence of Self, the Essence of the Religious Life, is the utter opposite of evil.

Satanism & God's Real Name...Very similar, but 100% opposite.  That's the clearest example I know of the very subtle power of evil.
