Gentle Jesus, Meek and Mild
Through the MIRACLE of today's technology, I am able to present a reader's
comment to this rather controversial meditation even BEFORE most of you have
read it!
From D in Hawaii: Hooray once again you've said it so well! I for one, enjoy your outrage. It shows the passion you have which is lacking in most other "churches". Once again I will say, Matthew 23 is
one of my all time favorites simply because it shows the strength Jesus possesses, and His authority is
unchallengeable, and He is so fearless in the face of the big wigs of that day.
And mostly because it shows us to be courageous and not timid or weak kneed, even in the face of our enemies. He was the ultimate rebel of this satanic world order (I mean He
rebelled against it, duh). Thank you , thank you thank you. I am so grateful for you and the way you so entertainingly defend the great and Holy NAME of YHWH. I'm so glad for the
guidance that brought me to this site.
I love my congregation. True, in a certain human sense I wish we we
greater in number, but I love my fellow faithful.
As was expected, yesterday's Picture of God drew
its fair share of response, centering around 2 main ideas: 1) that I lose my
"effectiveness" thru such outrage, and 2) it puts people off when
religions criticize others.
Here is a lovely, well written example. I
AM NOT including this to ridicule or make fun of the lovely person who wrote it....It's
simply the most articulate letter I got on the subject. (Plus she says a
lot of nice things about me(!))

And how can you be sure we're not the mind of YHWH, when we say words to the effect of "don't get so mad"?. All I'm trying to say is it reduces your
strength, your effectiveness. Anger is good, many have finally taken the action that
needs to be taken when they have anger. You wrote all those marvelous documents
teaching us all about God's name, and what YHWH has in store for us when we learn God consciousness. Your anger at the wrongful teaching we've
experienced , and the love of YHWH to move you do the countless hours, weeks, months and years of work to right a wrong is more than admirable
it is truly God's work. But wrath, even when you call it righteous anger,
closes too many eyes and too many doors. Any time any church tells it's members the
other religions are wrong, (And probably all "religions" are wrong "here and there")
this is disrespectful of what is held dear to millions. They react to angry
tone not with curiosity, but with contempt. This is not to say that if you just
show love, that you will not be the target of hate. There are plenty of examples
of that both in the bible (Jesus) and history. Turn the other cheek doesn't have to
mean you allow a crime to be committed, but you cannot always control another
person's action.
Some comments of my own:
- I disparaged no one's "religion", only the evil of those
entrusted with translating the Bible and deciding to slap YHWH in the face
by not even printing His Name.
- Millions upon Millions of good, honest, seeking Christians AND Jews HAVE
died and WILL die, well-intended people, without ever even knowing God's
Name!
- Where is the anger, the complete OUTRAGE that such a thing can
be?
- The "Holy" Bibles people keep in their homes are full of lies
and distortions, all intended to KEEP YOU AWAY FROM ONE OF THE MOST PRECIOUS
GIFTS YHWH HAS FOR YOU!!!!!!!!!....People's entire souls and future's are
involved, and the Church, entrusted with taking care of those precious
souls, has committed crimes unmentionable.
- I am BEYOND OUTRAGE that the misuse YHWH's Name has been subjected to has
not caused TOTAL OUTRAGE LIKE THE WORLD HAS NEVER SEEN.
- Maybe the problem is that I am one of the tiniest few who
understands...It's just an ancient, meaningless, unpronounceable bunch of
stupid Hebrew letters, right? What's the big deal? Who
cares? What are you bringing to the potluck this Wednesday?
- Once you see....once you taste...once you begin to know....you
will understand!!!!!!
- Let me ask the community a question.......
- If YHWH had a bank account, a real, actual, earthly bank account, for
each and every person on the earth,
- and all you had to do was go to the bank, give them the account
number,
- and you are handed $1,000,000,000.00 (one BILLION dollars, that's a
thousand million), IN CASH,
- and the account number for each and every single person was given by
God,
- to be protected (under penalty of punishment),
- and ordered to be printed on (almost) EVERY PAGE of EVERY BIBLE,
- so that no one could mistake it and it could never get lost, and
EVERYONE would have access to ALL THE RICHES THEY WOULD EVER NEED,
- and the Church deliberately removed that account # from every
single Bible printed,
- so no one could get their inheritance, keeping everyone poor,
- Would you feel angry? Mad? OUTRAGED?
- Frankly, Scarlet, Would you give a damn?
Dear reader, in all probability you have NO CONCEPT that the name YHWH is
worth more than all those hypothetical bank accounts combined.
But I do.
I do.
As to righteous anger, I will not address the question. I will let my
brother Jesus speak to the issue.

Hmmmmmmmm.....Sounds like he needs some anger
management therapy.....maybe a support group or 12-Step program?
Me again.
The only thing necessary for evil to win is for good
people to do nothing.
Stanley Kubrick's Clockwork Orange finishes with
the lead character brutally beating and raping a woman, while the beautiful
people stand around in their finery, watching, applauding and laughing.
How prophetic he was.
Simply stated, The Name MATTERS. And this is NOT just "any"
Name....ALL power & religious
revelation can be gained through it...
YHWH Himself (not that anyone cares) states quite clearly in Exodus 3:15, "This
is my Name forever, the Name by which I am to be remembered from generation
to generation."
I am one of the few humans of the earth today (I know
there are others) who even cares. Where, dear community, is THE
OUTRAGE? If we throw the Name out, why not the part about murder, or
adultery, or stealing.......
Oh.
